Efforts Continue to Link Residents with Unclaimed Property, Local Entities with Grants, Says Bashline
March 3, 2026
HARRISBURG –Rep. Josh Bashline (R-Clarion/Armstrong) announced he will be hosting two events aimed at helping residents and entities within the 63rd District.
The first event he will host is his Unclaimed Property “Pot of Gold” event scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Sugarcreek Township Volunteer Fire Department Hall, located at 110 Rodgers Road, East Brady.
In 2025, Bashline’s district office staff, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Treasurer’s Office, helped residents reclaim $12,221 worth of property. The partnership will continue this year. Separately, his staff will also assist residents with their Property Tax/Rent Rebate applications.
The second event is a grant seminar in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). That is scheduled for Friday, March 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Distant Fire Department Hall, located at 2239 Madison Road, New Bethlehem. Representatives from DCED will be in attendance to provide a presentation on the types of grants available, eligibility requirements and application processes. Township officials, fire departments and nonprofit organizations are encouraged to attend.
“Constituent services are such an important aspect of my job,” said Bashline. “My dedicated team and I are beyond honored to assist with state-related matters like these.”
Anyone with questions is asked to call Bashline’s Clarion district office at 814-226-9000 or his Kittanning district office at 724-954-3613.
