July 7, 2025

HARRISBURG – Rep. Josh Bashline (R-Clarion/Armstrong) announced he will be hosting a concealed carry seminar alongside Rep. Abby Major (R-Armstrong/Westmoreland) on Thursday, July 17, from 6-9 p.m. at the Worthington-West Franklin Volunteer Fire Department, 171 Linton Alley, Worthington.

“Residents in Clarion and Armstrong counties care deeply, and take great pride in, their Second Amendment rights,” said Bashline. “This engaging event gives attendees a great opportunity to obtain a better understanding of information they need to know when owning a firearm.”

Representatives from Firearms Owners Against Crime (FOAC) will be on hand to discuss a wide range of firearms safety and Second Amendment topics, including:
• How to obtain a permit to carry a concealed weapon.
• What to do when encountering a member of law enforcement while carrying a concealed weapon.
• Details surrounding Pennsylvania’s Castle Doctrine.
• Other valuable information regarding state gun laws.

Registration is required. Constituents who are interested in attending may register online at repbashline.com/events or call Bashline’s Kittanning district office at 724-954-3613.
